Your Star

In my life… you solemnly came,

Thundering as a beacon of light;

I reckon it is no more the same,

‘Cause you took away my plight.

You stirred up my inner soul,

In mending my broken wings;

For, in your love, I did fall,

And now I dance the swings.

I often wondered what to do,

Midst fields rippled with winds.

The thought  of life without you,

sends chills and my back bends.

We walk thru the shallow creek,

Away from the beaten track,

My heart glees when you speak

‘Cause my lost joy just came back.

The darkest nights, your star is near,

I tread the valley trails deep.

But love dispels in me the fear.

I pray to God your love to keep.
