Jaded Eyes

I gazed through your jaded eyes

Watery with anguish and pain

Beneath your golden hair lies

Your face streaming with tears as rain.

I heard me saying blared by your charm

Forget your anguish and pain

And come to my welcoming arms

To harness together life’s reins

I stretch my inviting arms in the air,

Fascinated by your grace and glare

We sorted through memories of past

Of journeys we failed to make them last

We meet again, we gazed and we talked

Holding hands, we joked and we walked

I walked you through the smiles,

My words gushed one hundred miles,

As I winged them on Cupid’s dart

I set free the craving of my heart

I saw happy glints in your eyes

I shouted, I love you, no more bye byes.
