Yesterdays

I tunneled through fields and mountain,

I traversed through moors and brae,

I roamed prairies for love’s fountain,

Alas! Roads impassable and skies gray.

Yesterday… I felt deep sorrow,

For I could not find my only love.

I had no hope nor had any promise,

But today, it descended like a dove.

I heard a whispering voice within me,

It came straight from within the heart,

I don’t know why or how it happened,

Or where did it get its sweet start.

You already reached the geyser spring.
