Love Vagabond

Lost in a sea of mixed desires
Skirting the city,
Looking aimlessly for love’s fires
Amid despair and pity.

In the chaos of strange places,
Yet there was stillness,
Your face among thousand faces
Radiating closeness.

Twinkling black eyes checked me
With nagging dare,
Irresistibly charming, I wondered
Why should you care ?

My mind amazed stretched afar
For hopes on high,
My heart frightened split ajar
Finally with a sigh.

Though intense and confounded
And nerves in shreds,
So dumbstruck and dumbfounded
I welcome the spreads.

As the minute long ticked by,
It seems endless.
No matter how emotions run dry,
I’m no more hopeless.

In the wee hours of the night,
Love bells rang,
In inaudible hum of love in climax,
Our hearts sang.
