Love’s Worth

As barren eyes seek its final peace,
I stretch my pain across the earth.
As aching heart longs for beloved face,
Thru anguish I understand love’s worth.

The nights are long and quite lonely,
Amidst endless desires and dreams.
Tho’ the moon is shining and lovely,
The tears stroll in drops and streams.

How I wrote to you letters in my sleep,
Riding up the stars lighting the sky.
I danced away the nights in hot sweep,
Searching for my lost love, I did cry!

From the Lord of universe, the Seer,
I begged His Mercy for my lost love,
I stretched my hands in warm prayer,
Trusting Him for blessings from above.
