Another Day

My many dreams are endless

And another night has gone,

As all the hopes are mend less,

One more evening has begun.

The heart tried by the nightmares

Echoes losses no one gain,

The soul, with its daily cares,

Burdened and labor in vain.

The spirit so strong yet bends

Only to love’s mighty sword,

The body weary and tense

Longs only for lover’s words.

The feelings are in shamble

Leading centuries of feud,

With love we dare to gamble

And be labeled fools and dudes.

The lights are fading in the mist

Since one more night has begun,

The world is claiming its rest

But mine declined and has run.
