I’m burning like a candle in haze,
Yet, I’ve flown closer to its blaze.
Drunk and blinded as in a maze,
Of love whose flame is in a daze.
I watched closely its dying wick,
I hoped it stands the raging wind,
And survives through thin and thick,
So my hands for its cover I lend.
The candle lit was standing tall,
Dripping its tears into my hand,
While burning deep into my soul,
Revived me with its magic wand.
I saw its lights reflect the glow,
Mirrored the love I never knew.
With a promise, begins to show
A candle on fire, fresh and new.
I gave to love so many names,
I oft danced to its musical beat.
Been drawn by its fiery flames,
As a candle, I glowed by its heat.
I burn for love the candle way,
It warms the heart and it sways.
I praise the Lord for every day,
I see my love flickering with rays.
