Love Autumn

Over grassy meadows and stony bridges,
Unfettered woods and cliffy steep ridges,
Across snaked serenading brooks and rivers,
Love sought shelter from pain and sought cover.

Facing mountains wooded with red maples trees,
Autumn of life dawns on the slave and the free,
Prairies vast rainbowed with beds of flowers,
Love seeks the happy rain in form of showers.

Like pandora’s box, one thing leads to another
Solid feelings, shaken from their roots, scatter
Chasing the winds and love pieces to gather
Without love, nothing in our life does matter.

We walk through life sustained by love magic,
As the fall trees, without leaves, we look tragic,
After they fall, the trees look ugly and barren,
From birth to death, love dim signs grow sullen.
