Woe to Freedoms in which name atrocities are committed, woe to gullibility in which name honest causes are lost, and woe to Honor in which name disgrace is exalted. Evil and evildoers triumphed on Sept. 11th (USA), Oct. 12th (Bali), March 11th (Spain), July 7th (U.K.) and others, because the whole world, and the USA in particular, like an ostrich, failed to see the thundering crushing tsunami of the “plat-du-jour” fanatic Islamism.
We failed before and now because all we ought to have done, we have not done; all we ought to have uttered, we have not said, and all we ought to have felt, we have not sensed. Like sheep led to slaughterhouse, we all bowed to the calamities.
The Free World strongly believes that “One is innocent until proven guilty”, wherein dictatorships and Islamic Countries, “You’re guilty until proven innocent”. That is to say if the person is lucky enough to ever have miraculously the chance to be fairly tried. By all Islamic Countries’ measures and standards, they are all, without exception, guilty of all charges levied against them until proven innocent. The Free World requires from the Islamic Countries more than clichéd conciliatory harangues and precise actions to prove otherwise. While the Islamic Countries dart their charges by the bushel against America and the West, even when America and the West have no hand in whatever happens internally, the Free World, by its high standards, is still giving the Islamic Countries one chance after another to defend themselves, to come clear with their action and intents, to eradicate fanaticism and rid the world of their sponsored terrorism.
The Islamic Countries’ hands are stained with the blood of their subjects and the world, and their deafening silence, together with their open checkbooks and medieval mentality encouraged such atrocities. It was not America and the West, who hijacked Islam, or who launched a “Jihad” against Islam. They readily, voluntarily and maliciously allowed, over the last twenty years, a handful of fanatics to hijack their Islam and to oppressively and reprehensively interpret its teachings. So, they have no right now to scream and yell: “wolf”, for “He who conceals a useful truth is equally guilty with the propagator of an injurious falsehood” (St. Augustine).
They now scream and yell: “America is killing innocent people”, and “America is killing the peoples, the children and women of Afghanistan and Iraq”. On one hand, if it is true and legitimate, what would the Islamic Countries say, after encouraging, blessing and funding the butchering of thousands of innocent Muslims and Non-Muslims, be it Afghans, Iraqi, Egyptians, Moroccans, Americans, French, British, Spaniards, Italians and Russian among others, who paid with their lives by the sword of Islam deployed in the hands of those who hijacked Islam? What about the thousands of orphans, maimed, handicapped, etc., who left behind? What about the global economical disasters that resulted from these ongoing massacres? And on the other hand, if their claim should hold any water, these innocent people were and are regretfully casualties of a war in a real war zone. Can Muslim Countries claim like Pontius Pilate: “We’re innocent of the blood of those innocent victims”?
A comment by Sheikh Abdul Hadi Palazzi, an Imam and secretary general of the Italian Muslim Association in Rome:
For reasons he cannot fathom, the world has decided not to think much about the fact that the Sept. 11 terrorists were mostly Saudis. In his view, and I quote: “It is as if people said Japan had nothing to do with Pearl Harbor. Imagine how the Saudi princes feel. They say to themselves: “we kill thousands of Americans and now they welcome us as men of peace.”
Islamic Countries cannot dwell on their past if their present does not reflect a shred of what they were. What happened to their integrity, generosity, and fairness? What happened to their so-called religion of “Tolerance” and “Mercy”? It is only fair to ask Islamic Countries and Muslims to be the harbingers of truth, of self-critique and of justice. Muslims owe it to themselves, as their sole and primary obligation, to reclaim their Islam from the Muslim butchers, not from America and the World.
The Free World did not and will not harm Islam and Muslims, as many of their religious, social and political plights and dismay are because of their tyrant rulers. Unable to face and dethrone these rulers, they took up their anger and dismay to kill innocent people, their Muslim brethren and others. The disgruntled street Muslims have reached the point of no return as their dishonorable deeds and false reactions are the mirror of Shakespeare’s famous quote “Past all shame, so past all truth”.
Armed with their pestilent falsehood, calculated inactions, premeditated reactions, defiant arrogance, fanatic activism and sensed inferiority, they love to portray themselves in a victor victim scenario of legendary proportions, cementing the Arabic maxim: “He hit me first and wept but he rushed before me and complained”, which makes Shakespeare’s line appropriately befitting them: “You are not worth the dust which the rude wind blows in your face”.
Wake up from your long sleep, and stop victimizing the world with your non-senses, for the hour of your demise has just begun, and the drums of war has echoed over the four corners of the globe. While you represent only a threat to the Free World in the loss of innocent lives and material assets, you symbolize a real threat to the rule, survival and status quo of your Muslim despots; consequently, they will hunt you and shed your blood and the blood of your innocent families and brethren before the Free World would exterminate you. As the snow has died so are your claims. While veiled by false “Tolerance and Mercy”, it is stained with blood, chicanery and trickery.
Muslim terrorists cite repeatedly this verse of Surat Muhammad (47:4): “When you meet (e.g. in fight) those who disbelieve, (execute) the smiting of the necks until you have overcome them, then tighten the bond (imprison them): thereafter either generosity (release them) or ransom, until the war lays down its burdens…”. We witness today the three options exercised in Afghanistan and mainly in Iraq and Syria. Releasing them is the least favorable of the three, yet smiting of the necks is routine, while the increase taking of hundreds of hostages in Iraq and Afghanistan for ransom and self-enrichment is wide spread.
If terrorists believe in the Qur’an, Islam and Prophet Muhammad, they should obey Allah: “O you, who believe, obey Allah and obey His Messenger and those of authority (Ulema’) among you. If you differ in anything among yourselves, refer it to Allah and His Apostle, if you do believe in Allah and the Last Day: That is best, and most suitable for final determination” (Surat Al-Nisaa 4:59). Are Iraqi Kurds and Shi’ites as well as Sunni Afghans disbelievers? Are politics the driving force disguised in religion for terrorists to kill their brethren? Does not the wholesale killing represent another proof of terrorists’ pestilent falsehood, since they chose to believe in self-proclaimed ulemas more than Allah, His Qur’an and His Prophet? Does not the verse say to go to Allah and His Apostle only, and not to fake and self-proclaimed ulemas?
At the heart of every religion there are superficially conflicting and contradictory passages, nonetheless, we should air on the side of good not evil if we want to honor Allah. Did not the Almighty Allah tell Prophet Muhammad: “…but we made you (Muhammad) not one to watch over their doings, nor are you set over them to dispose of their affairs” (Surat Al-An’am 6:107). Who gave the right to any terrorist to kill his Muslim brethren as well as disbelievers in Islam If Allah, in His supreme suzerainty, had instructed His Prophet not to meddle in non-Muslims’ lives?
And finally we read: “…Surely, Allah loves not the transgressors” (Surat Al-Bakara 2:191), and: “Allah forbids you not, with regard to those who fight you not for (your) Faith nor drive you out of your homes, from dealing kindly and justly with them: for Allah loves those who are just. Allah only forbids you, with regard to those who fight you for (your) Faith, and drive you out of your homes, and support (others) in driving you out, from turning to them (for friendship and protection). It is such as turn to them (in these circumstances), that do wrong” (Surat Al-Mumtahina 60:8-9). I do not read any verse in the Qur’an that speaks of Allah’s wishes, accordingly, terrorists’ martyrdom is false, their beliefs are baseless, and their self-proclaimed turned militant ulemas and their fatwas are worthless because they are contrary to Allah’s stern ordinances.
In the global war on terrorism, mainly perpetrated by Muslims all over the globe; the Free World calls on all honest, sincere, Allah fearing and loving Muslims to dwarf the dangers and harms levied by their brethren, represented by the fundamentalist, terrorist and jihadist factions.
Like the Israelites, honest peaceful and Allah fearing Muslims should start praying for the rain, as they shall know no rest, they shall experience no security, and they shall taste no peace until they help restore to this world its serenity, its equilibrium and equanimity by joining the forces of good to make of this world a better one. Then the bells of God-given “Freedoms”, “World Peace” coupled with real “Tolerant and Merciful Co-habitation” will toll in their and our midst.
No Muslim has the right to ask others to do what he or she can’t and will not do. If the Muslims are sincere to the letter and spirit of “Mercy” and “Tolerance”, I implore them, in the Name of Allah, whom they profess to worship, to get off their high wooden horses, get rid of their fanaticism, and join the forces of good in this world with clean hands, minds and hearts. Then when we together help ourselves, God and Allah will bless this world with real peace and co-habitation.
The terrorists hoist a flag of an Allah who is not the All-Forgiving All-Merciful Allah we all know, giver of goodness and peace to all his creatures, without exception, to non-believers before even believers; according to His word, the following two verses from the Qur’an and the Bible should always be our guiding light:
“May Allah change the animosity between you and them into love.
Allah is Omnipotent. Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful”
(Surat Al-Mumtahina 60:7)
and
“Mercy and Truth have met each other;
Justice and Peace have kissed”
(Psalm 85:10).
