Dear God, like all the homeless,
I come for my daily loaf of bread,
When I ask for worldly wealth,
In your Mercy, you gave health instead.
In pursuit of happiness,
I often ask you for vain kingdom,
With love devoid of pettiness,
You readily offer your Wisdom.
Blinded by this World game,
I strive ferociously for more fame,
By Grace, you gave me your Name,
Since then, my life is never the same.
