Don’t Fret

As our lonely days and years go by,

With their ups and downs.

Silent prayers to the Lord, Standing by,

To dissipate all our frowns.

Through miseries thick and thin,

Let our hearts rejoice.

In spite of all our failures and sin,

In God, we have a choice.

Him, the Dearest Friend of all,

Casts away our gloom.

His Mercy is precious to recall,

For us to always bloom.

In Him, we have the strongest tie

Of harmony and meekness.

So, Dear Lord, stay always near by

In health and in sickness.

Through the many paths we so trod,

Let nothing frighten you,

We’ll always have the Almighty God
